Michelle has been supporting Dr. Winn since the beginning of his research tenure starting at the University of Colorado, Denver. Working side-by-side since 2004, Michelle and Dr. Winn have established their “mom and pop” lung cancer research laboratory to one that has been funded by multiple NIH and VA grants and has spanned over three states at three major institutions.
Outside Lab Interests: Michelle loves to cook and is soon running out of cupboard space with all the cooking gadgets she collects. She was on the quest to search for Sasquatch to finally realize that she may have married it. Her biggest reward and joy are being mom to her amazing son and fur-daughter.
