Question:
How can I move the messages downloaded from a POP account to
another computer in Mozilla mail?
Answer:
You cannot do it from inside Mozilla. You need to go to your profile in the
file manager. There, all pop3 mail is stored in a folder appropriately named
"mail". You'll find files without extension of which each represents
a fodler
of your mail tree. You do not need the .msf files.
Copy the files to your new computer in the same location and you should be
all right. To be really sure everything goes all right, you might want to
change the name of the files you copy (again, the ones without an extension
are important, forget about the rest) so that they do not conflict with
standard mail folders:
rename "inbox" to "inbox2"
rename "sent" to "sent2"
etc.
