Scholarly activities

Internal Medicine housestaff are actively involved in teaching, performing research, preparing abstracts and writing papers for publication. In the 2004-05 academic year, housestaff members submitted 42 abstracts to the American College of Physicians’ 2005 National Associates Abstract Competition. In the 2003-04 academic year, 20 residents presented at state, regional or national meetings. Seven residents authored or co-authored publications in peer-reviewed journals.
