Elective rotations
Elective rotations provide training opportunities in core subspecialties.
We require five core subspecialties over the three-year period:
- Endocrinology
- Rheumatology
- Gastroenterology/Hepatology
- Infectious diseases
- Nephrology
- Pulmonary
Subspecialty electives include consultative and ambulatory experiences and encourage creative, nontraditional electives. We also offer and encourage research electives. Off-site rotations are available with full pay and benefits (one-month limit). We also offer two-week electives so that individuals can combine experiences.
