Residency Selection Process

 
Procedure to evaluate & select applicants.

The resident selection committee is a subcommittee of the Residency Advisory Committee. Applicants must have a valid MPH degree from a program accredited by the Council on Accreditation for Public Health (CEPH). The applicant must also have a current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and must obtain this license within 3 months of entering the PGY3 - practicum rotation.

The program only accepts candidates for the PGY3 - Practicum year. The program does not accept H1b Visas.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2007-2008 PGY3 - Practicum year. Applications will be reviewed in January, 2007.
