Making an appointment with a VCU Department of Internal Medicine physician

The Virginia Commonwealth University Department of Internal Medicine offers a complete range of consultative and inpatient services covering all areas of internal medicine and its subspecialties. In addition to providing complete primary care services, physicians in our group practice can provide referrals to a broad range of VCU Medical Center specialists should the need arise.

There also is ready access to the wide variety of specialized diagnostic services only available at a regional medical center such as VCU Medical Center.

The physicians and staff place a high priority on keeping the referring physician informed of the progress of the patient.

Each physician can be reached through the Physician Access Line (800) 628-4141 or through the direct dial number listed by each physician’s name. Each specialty maintains a 24-hour attending staff available for consultations and referrals that can also be reached through the Consult Service Phone (800) 628-4141.
