The following suggestions are categories of conferences which may be useful tools in following for our academic conference:

1) Evidence based medicine: reading the literature sessions
2) Teaching tips/techniques for one on one sessions
3) Point counterpoint: Have 2 faculty debate a clinical issue
4) Journal awareness: Why I (the presenter) thinks this paper should change your practice)?
5) ACP or other professional group new guidelines or position
statements: why you should listen to them?
6) Scholarly or research activities within the division (selected faculty)
